I have this habit of eavesdropping on other people’s conversations. What can I say? I have super ears.

Today, while walking on the street, I overheard a woman talking to her friend. She said that she created a list of things she learned from Sandy. The ones I heard were as follows:

1. Retirement is not for me yet

2. It’s good to have things you like to do outside of work

I told these points to the BF and he asked me how old the women were. I guessed they were around their 40’s or 50’s. He responded with, “man, older people really are wiser”. 

For once, I think he’s right.
